From crafting bespoke luxury homes for individual clients to reimagining what entry-level ownership can look like, our journey as a design, build, and development firm has been one of evolution and ambition. Originality
Breaking from the uniformity of its surroundings, the mixed-use apartment building establishes a distinctive yet contextual identity within an area known for predictable design. The project respects the prevailing massing and material palette while introducing a refined façade composition that adds visual interest and depth. Ground-floor retail enlivens the street edge, and energy-efficient systems reinforce a contemporary approach that meaningfully elevates the existing urban fabric.

Sustainability
Designed with performance as a primary driver, the residential building is planned to achieve carbon neutrality and net-zero energy consumption without compromising architectural quality. A high-performance building envelope, optimized assemblies, and on-site renewable energy generation significantly reduce operational demands while offsetting remaining energy use. Together, these strategies position the project as a forward-thinking model for sustainable residential development within its urban context.

Community
Organized to promote connection rather than isolation, the condominium layout emphasizes shared experience over the compartmentalized planning of conventional apartment buildings. Centrally located circulation, well-placed common areas, and visual connections between homes encourage casual interaction and community. By moving away from long, anonymous corridors, the design supports a more visible, engaged residential environment.

Affordability
The new condominiums are priced far below most housing in the Berkeley–Oakland area, making them accessible to a sustainability-minded generation.
